John Frampton:
Hello, my name is John Frampton better known as Johnny by many. I was born in 1972 and am married to a beautiful woman named Regina. In 2005, we had our first child--a very special daughter named Ashlyn. I have been singing for the Lord since the age of 3 and have been fortunate to have been involved with Southern Gospel music for most of that time. I came to a true saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at the age of 21. Shortly after, I began to sing with the Backwood Boys in 1994. I also serve along-side them in our local church as bass guitarist and Sunday School teacher. It is my heart’s desire to see people saved and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is our mission to share the love, mercy and grace of Jesus Christ and provide encouragement by proclaiming the Gospel through song. Please, keep us in your prayers.

Benjy Bass:
Hello, my name is Benjy Bass, and I was born in 1970 to Rev. Gene and Hazel Bass. Growing up in a pastor's home, I had the opportunity in seeing, first-hand, the importance of ministering to the lost, as well as to fellow Christians. In 1993, I married my wife Holly, and we later had two beautiful children, Ethan and Ansley. I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy barbecuing and being outdoors. In addition to working with The Backwood Boys, I also serve in our local church as primary drummer and Sunday School Superintendent. Like John and Alex, it is also my desire to see hearts and lives changed as a result of our ministry. Keep us in your prayers.

Alex Coleman:
Hi. My name is Alex Coleman, and I was born in 1973 into the home of Rev. Alton and Marlene Coleman. Like Benjy and John, I too had the honor and priveledge of being raised in a Christian home, and am grateful and thankful for God's never-ending love and mercy toward me and my family. In January of 1997, my wife, Misty, and I were married, and she's even more lovely and beautiful today, than she was when we first met. Later, Misty and I were blessed with three of the most precious gifts that any parent could ask for--Evan, Makayla, and Lauren. In addition to ministering with the Backwood Boys, I also serve with them in our local church as Minister of Music, and also own and operate a small Christian-based recording studio in Starke, Florida, called Daystar Recording. In addition to making music, I enjoy playing outdoors with my children, fishing and camping, rooting for the Indians at my son's little league games, singing with my children and water skiing (although I rarely get a chance to do the skiing thing). I love to see hearts and lives changed as a result of our music ministry. Without Christ, we are nothing. But God's Word reassures us that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. Please, remember The Backwood Boys and our families in your prayers.
